Thomas

Brandt

„DOMUS, because our expertise is highly valued by management boards and supervisory boards. And that's a good feeling.“

With over 30 years in auditing – 20 of them at DOMUS – Thomas Brandt specialized early on in the real estate industry after initial roles in auditing. He joined DOMUS in connection with an asset deal and has since consistently managed mandates in Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.

Richard

Christmann

„DOMUS combines team spirit with innovation - a setting where employees and clients truly take center stage.“

After seven years with the “Big Four,” specializing in IFRS, US GAAP, and HGB mandates, Richard Christmann joined DOMUS, focusing on companies in the real estate and energy sectors. A native of northern Germany, he is also passionate about his work as a consultant for audit associations and companies, as well as his involvement in regional sports associations.

Torsten

Fechner

„Here, there's room for personal development that everyone can pursue at their own pace - it's up to each individual to seize it.“

While studying business administration in Berlin, Torsten Fechner worked at the GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam, where his engineering degree helped him. After an initial stint at a tax consultancy firm, the path to DOMUS was not far away. He can now look back on 25 years in auditing, particularly in the real estate sector. Speaking of paths: his passion for hiking is shared more by his dogs than his children.

Klaus-Peter

Ohme

„DOMUS makes careers possible. From audit assistant to Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board in six years.“

Although a true Berliner by birth, Klaus-Peter Ohme has long since made Brandenburg his home. His personal move from the federal capital to the state capital Potsdam was mirrored in his professional journey at DOMUS. Following a banking apprenticeship and studies in business administration, he began his career as a tax advisor and auditor. That his passion for construction also plays a role in his professional life is likely no coincidence: he is responsible for overseeing the construction of DOMUS’ new headquarters. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Prof. Dr. Klaus-Peter

Hillebrand

„We put people at the center. For employees, we offer purpose and perspective – for our clients, we create added value.“

Klaus-Peter Hillebrand, originally from Westphalia, completed his law studies in his home region before launching his career in Berlin. Active for BBU and DOMUS since the early 1990s – already as a certified tax advisor and auditor – he has significantly shaped the company’s development. In addition to numerous honorary commitments, his professorship at EBZ is especially close to his heart. Amid publications and expert commentaries, he still finds time for one of his favorite hobbies: water sports.

Thomas

Winkler

„I've been with DOMUS for over 30 years - that speaks for itself.“

After completing a dual study program and a few years at the Berlin tax authority, Thomas Winkler joined DOMUS in 1991 as a certified tax advisor. Since 2010, he has also worked in international matters as a specialist advisor for international tax law. In addition, he is active in Rotary, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the tax advisors’ association. To balance out all those numbers, he enjoys hunting or going for a ride on one of his motorcycles.

Frank

Fiolka

„I enjoy working at DOMUS - because our clients and we are the good guys.“

With nearly 30 years of experience in tax consulting and auditing at DOMUS – focused on the real estate industry – Frank Fiolka combines deep professional expertise with a passion for process digitization and sustainability. Topics such as compliance and risk management systems as well as digital financial reporting are key areas of his work. He also supports companies on their path to sustainability by preparing CO₂ balances.

Susanne

Kalbow

„DOMUS is real estate - but so much more. With the diversity and expertise of our team, we’re always on the pulse of the times.“

Susanne Kalbow’s first encounter with auditing came during her studies in business education. This was followed by nearly ten years at KPMG, during which she completed a part-time Master’s degree in “Accounting & Taxation.” She brought her early specialization in group audits and capital market-oriented companies with her to DOMUS. When unexpected turns or challenges arise in day-to-day business, the experienced show jumper scores with poise and balance.

Michael

Kube

„If you want to help SHAPE things, this is the place to be. And with our diverse clients, there are plenty of opportunities to act with personal responsibility.“

Michael Kube has spent much of his career in the banking sector. After training as a bank clerk, he went on to earn a degree in business psychology (University of Applied Sciences). During his time at a large auditing association, he focused primarily on auditing. His main areas of expertise include quality assurance and risk management. In his free time, you might find Michael Kube on a bike – or enjoying some time in the kitchen.

Dr. Daniel

Ranker

„It’s truly rewarding to support companies in the housing industry as part of a team of dedicated experts - an equally meaningful and sustainable business model.“

After completing a banking apprenticeship and his academic studies, Dr. Daniel Ranker initially worked in teaching and research – soon involved in real estate-related projects for industrial companies. Following his doctorate, this native of the Rhineland made the move into auditing in Berlin. In addition to his work for DOMUS, he has found a professional home at VdW Rheinland Westfalen.
